East Central Ia | No experience with the chopping version bit we had a Geringhoff for several years and traded it. What we didn't like was how far out in front of the stalk rolls the stripped plates are causing it to push stalks over if you are not perfectly on the row. We also hfsd trouble breaking the spirals off the stalk rolls. So much that Geringhoff put all new ones on it one season. We ran it one more season and still broke a couple.
The company seemed good to work with, we just didn't like their product enough to keep it. | |
