nope, the software would be the easy part. But software engineers (unless you're someone like mx270a who has the advantage of working for himself) don't make decisions. Figuring out what - if any - alarms should be "ignorable" is a decision made much farther up the food chain, where risk and liability and other sorts of issues are given pretty high consideration. The software guys just write the code to make it happen.

Any of your major manufacturers are going to err on the side of conservatism - that is, "we understand that this might not be the most convenient choice for the operator, but it is the decision that ultimately exposes us to the least risk". Case in point: a couple of weeks ago there was a thread on here about someone's frustration that Raven covers up virtually their entire screen with a "take control" message when guidance is going to disengage. Several people responded to that original post with comments that ended up indicating that virtually every other manufacturer does exactly the same thing. There's a reason...

I'm not saying that CIH is right in this situation, but there's a method to their madness. If you don't like it, they have a customer service email address (MaxService -at- cnh.com), or 1-877-4CASEIH. They also have regional combine specialists throughout the US, so you could forward your concerns to him. (her?)
