We rely on flows of the Ogalallah Aquifer for 'recharge' which actually isn't recharge, it is just water moving from one area to another underground. Some areas locally still have good water, others within a mile have abandoned wells 10 years ago. Very spotty.
The common story is this: draw down this year is like we have never seen it before. I am guessing guys will be renozzling as a result of dropping well capacity. |
