Subject: Insurance question

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
How is multiperil crop insurance going to handle abandoned irrigated corn? In 2002 we had extreme heat and drought and some irrigated corn was not covered for loss if the insurance company decided you did not have enough water to fully irrigate. It has been a gray area ever since. That year some guys had to continue watering their corn even though the ears didn't have very many kernals on them.
