No. There is no sub-soil moisture. You plow a field now & it will be months before it will have enough moisture to do anything with it (if you dry it out, irrigation right now, will not get it wet enough to make a crop) . Milo is tough but after looking at some today that looked like No. 2 pencils, it's not going to be the answer unless things go 180 fast. Looking ahead to fall wheat planting & any wheat pasture looks suicidal at this point.
