I quit watering a half circle of alfalfa. It was blooming at only 3-5 inches tall. Just makes you sick to quit but it's not going to grow anymore. Too very hot, dry and windy for the crop to grow. Got my irrigation bill 2 days ago. Nothing to show for the expense involved for trying.
