Jackson County, MI | Here in Michigan I believe that it all got planted but a lot was late. We have corn that is chest high and looking great and other that is less than 12". We are just having problems with the soil having the same density as asphalt because of all the rain. There are parts where it didn't get planted but not very much. Unless by some act of God we have no chance of having a yield like last year. There was a lot of corn that went in after the insurance date of the 6th. But on a good note our wheat made it through the wet, cold weather pretty good and I think it will be a good crop. | |
