Bourbon,Indiana

I do use residuals in my burndown. I agree glyphosate is cheap. But tell that to those who are fighting resistant weeds.

So I ask, do you wait and see, trying to get by a cheap as you can?

My choice is to get myself acclimated to a new chemistry, how & when to spray it, when & why it does not work (for me).

Keep in mind I don't have heavy weed pressure on my farm or any resistant weeds (yet), and  I do not plan on waiting for that to happen either.

If I was in this for the cheap side of things, you would not find me picking rocks or pulling weeds, (which I do).

I just do not find $4.73/acre  (difference of glyphosate from glufosinate) a deal-breaker when I get to rotate chemistries......

I do, however see relevance in switching chemistries for the whole crop or farm from year-to-year (glyphosate one year/ glufosinate the next) as you mentioned....
