I would agree, we apply hog manure also on corn on corn ground and have found adding some supplemental N is helpful. It almost seems the N in manure is more organic or something and adding 50-60 lbs of 28% or anhydrous has helped bump our yields. That's with applying 3,000 gal per acre.
