These rents may work on to days corn prices with average or better yields but 45 bu beans or 75 bu. wheat will be a problem. Here we can't grow continuous corn without serious yield issues and generally corn is 1 out of 3 or 4 years....hard too compare us on tougher ground too think about paying C Ill. rents and someday we will have 2 digit interest rates again as we are killing our retirees income at present levels. Do you prefer too buy $3k land @12% or 7K land @4% int.? I'll choose the $3k land.
