Woodbury county | After yesterdays extreme heat and wind, a cold front that just came through did produce some rain overnight.......a .1 of an inch. Big disappointment! Local TV weatherman now says temperatures below normal for a few days and by the end of the coming week a blocking ridge that has been floating back and forth east of the Rockies will build and become stationary over the western corn belt and it will produce an extended heat period and very dry conditions for the western corn belt area. | |
