That would be about perfect size for alumni to take care of, FFA or not. Go to the cronies and tell them you'll farm it and the profit goes to the school. Potential good PR for you and maybe potential connections for the future. Calling them cronies probably won't help though. And making a big fuss over 20 acres that are highly visible in the community probably isn't good PR either.
