Subject: Re: RIVER CONVERGENCE ! !

East Central South Dakota
Hard to say. I had 700 acres of corn last year and 1100 this year. i have put in some windshield time in the state and i can't get a handle on planted acres. West towards Pierre a lot of corn planted and they have 300 acre fields out there. we will soon find out on planted acres, if i had to quess i would say we will come up a little short on acres. You see a lot of unplanted fields, but at which crops expense??? corn--wheat---or beans ? ? ? Yield in my opinion will be down. Simply law of averages. Way to many drowned out spots that will count as "planted acres" and will be zero's on the combine monitor. Ponds in the Dakotas don't go away down the tile line-------------Unfortunately ! ! !
