North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt !

Triplerange1 - 6/21/2011 19:45 Soil-life, I can understand no insecticide and I can understand no fungicide...but why no liquid fertilizer?

The Liquid fertilizer program is followed by those that have to become Dependent on Insecticide and fungicide.

You would also have to come and walk the fields. feel the tilth.

the same scouts cover the fields where Liquids have been traditionally used.

and spraying is always the recommendation.

the farms, fields next door with the dry program. No issues to spray for.  99 % of the time.

So these are Not just MY Observations. alone

also, the local CPS switched their customers to a dry fert. and dry starter program a few seasons back and they will not go back.

So think about it. If the co-op has 100% of the customers on a, for the most part. a Liquid N-P-K program. they do determine the areas average yield. and insecticide and fungicide are a must sell, must apply.
