North Central Ohio, across the Corn belt ! | sure, good soil levels of Micro Nutrients pay
and can pay BIG for High Yield management situations,
Foliar is a last ditch effort, a Band aid at best. until your soil levels are corrected.
this is what I have recommended on High Yield corn to be applied, broadcast this spring.
30 lbs Manganese Sulfate
10 lbs Copper Sulfate
20 to 40 lbs of 14% Boron depending on the field history
10 to 30 lbs of Zinc Sulfate
60 lbs of applied sulfate
Very seldom, if ever, have we, or will we see issues, or tissue levels reading Low.
and 200 to 300 dry land dry Yields are quite common and expected.
I have Never seen the need to apply High $ Foliar so far.
