Thats the problem and it is a real PIA when you have 1/2 mile long rows and there is a 3X50ft wedege in the middle you missed becuase you went into the fencerow more to burn it back. I wish it would start you second pass to overlap that and you could shut off/on booms as needed on the second pass.
