I would say it depends on what chemical you are spraying and how much water you want to use. For insecticides I like a hollow cone tip. I have two different size tips I use for insecticides. While the cotton is small I use a #12 but later in the year I have some #18's I use for more water. For Roundup I normally use a TD 11002 but for 10 gpa I run slower than 10 mph. I do have the TD 11003 in the sparayer now and have been using them for putting out Prowl. I do have a neighbor that all he uses in his sprayer is the TD 11003 tips.
