Yes this setup you mentioned works very well, i have tried it myself and had good luck. The big downside is you have to know what you are doing with computers, IP address, blue tooth connections and cabling to get this to work correctly. If you are looking for a simple solution the paradyme or trimble radio solution is much more user friendly. With a radio you go and plug in a coax cable for the antenna to the back of the monitor, type in your radio channel and you have RTK. Although that may seem to simple, it works and works well. No extra cables, boxes, tablets, etc in the cab. There is more then one way to get RTK to the tractor but what it all boils down to is the system user friendly and adaptable for the future. Does anyone know if you can use this sort of setup on the paradyme? With all that extra time you have in the cab you can use your smartphone for surfing the web. It is my understanding that you would have to go to another style receiver to make this work.
