Mohawk Indiana | Last time we were there we drove to a Metro station about a mile or so from our hotel in Alexandria. After 9 am they had special parking for tourists close to the station. I personally like doing that better than driving to the Mall area and trying to park etc. At thet time the Metro seemed very safe especially during the day, which was the only time we rode it.
