If Lance has a way to get from tablet pc to someone's steer ready kit you'd be in business for rtk and for much less than the $13K. If you can may a steering wheels system work, even cheaper.
I've heard some good feedback about Ag Leader's OnTrac2, which is the only steering system on the market
(that I'm aware of
) that can use standard NMEA position data for the positioning. Everything else is brand specific all the way through.
Nobody has a steering system that uses a generic tablet for the display ... yet.
The NTRIP software is just for getting correction data in to a RTK capable receiver. You still need the receiver, steering module, and a display.
