North Central Kansas | When my brother and I took my dad for his 90th birthday we stayed in the Double Tree in Crystal City. My brother traveled alot at that time with his job and had points. It was just a short distance from the metro entrance which is easy to get all over DC with. It will take you to the mall so you can see the museums and monuments and to Arlington. Expedia is a reputable site to look on. My guess is that to be close to the capital you will be looking at 200 per night. My wife and I want to take our kids there some time. Everyone should make a trip to DC to see the history.
When we went they had just broke ground on the WWII memorial. I wish my dad could see it. He is 98 now and not able to make the trip. | |
