what is this guys future goals? what kind of budget? what experience or friends experience does he have to help repair older larger equipment.
i buy stuff that is way to huge for my acreage. but i buy it cheap then spend time fixing it up to like new again. that way if i ever gain more land i am ready to be able to take that land on short notice. not panic and struggle.
there is a good chance that on 25 acres he is working off the farm as well, let the money from the land pay for and fix up the equipment, let the off farm income pay for his living. kind of a slow start that way but it works.
How much tractor do I need?
