| I wouldnt pay much attention to the garden tractor response , just someone being smart.
I farm about 40 acres, family owned, I have a Ih 806, John deere 6 row 7000 planter 15 foot cultivator , 14 foot disc and a gleaner F combine and two gravity wagons. the cultivator and disc was my grandpas so I found a tractor that was reasonable to pull them. Kinda the same boat , I could rent the farm out but I like to farm and its my hobby that actually makes me some money. I couldnt imagine farming 25 acres with a garden tractor unless I had nothing but time on my hands . I wish you the best and from what I have read on here there are some on here that are truly helpfull and others that will put you down since you are just small potatoes. One other thing Ive seen which kept me from joining is some that attack you for being new and asking a question. THeres been several times Ive wanted to ask a question and found it better to ask someone that lives around in my area the question than come here and get flamed. Good luck in your farming venture.
