What implements do you have or plan to get? If you go with really small stuff that would fit 25 acres, you'll pay a premium because there seem to be lots of people with small acreages and a brand new 25 horse tractor buying the small stuff.
Thats a good point, he likely can buy a much larger tractor and implements than he needs for a fraction of what estate size stuff will cost and get the job done much faster. Those 75- 125 hp tractors and implements are not desirable to most full time farmers, so go cheap at farm auctions. |
