Yes.  I talked to Ag Express and learned that you have to hold the buttons through the boot process in order to reset. i was quitting too soon.   I tried a two button soft reboot without luck, but the three button hard reboot took and the unit came back to life.  I already had a different one in the tractor and configured, so the offender is currently in the office and not in use, but it seems to be functional.
