We too have an xlrd with 90' booms. Got along pretty good in hills and terraces. Fast or demco would have shorter wheel bases though. A Guy I know has a hydraulic swinging tongue mounted on the tractor that helps hold the hills. Not quite sure how it works. If I was buying new and price wasn't an issue I'd get the fast with the sliding tongue or a demco.
