Subject: JD 1990 Air Drill and Rain

NW IOWA
Have 1990 CCS air drill that has to set out because doors not tall enough to get inside. Sooooo when it rains the meter area gets some moisture-water in it causing beans to swell. They even get wet enough to swell and sprout way down inside the tub. Needless to say it's a pain in the arse to clean them out. What the H. Can't they design something better to keep water out of this area. Guess I'm going to have to go buy a tarp for this poorly designed piece of shh-uger
Rained 2 inches last night and today started blower to turn the metering wheel and sure enough beans already swelled too much so the meter sprocket wouldn't turn just slipped. Damn overpriced under engineered crap.
