I would have to recommend a Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT. It has third row fold down seats. It can pull like a small truck if need be. Love the power from the Inline 6 cylinder 4.2 Liter engine. 4wd is a plus. Plenty of room inside. Luggage rack on top is nice. Best riding vehicle I have ever rode in. 17 inch wheels (not sure why they need to be that large, but it does have some nice brakes). I think the fuel mileage is around 18.5 mpg or so (don't hold me to that). Not as good as you are looking for, but sure is a nice vehicle. Most of them used are not terribly expensive. Ours is a 2006 model which is nice because they bumped up the power a little that year.
