middle TN | There is quite a bit of Civil War History just to the south of Nashville. There are Civil war sites in the town of Franklin and a National Battlefield in Murfreesboro, TN. Also not too far away is the Shiloh Battlefield. Quite a few other interesting things to see in this part of TN, Jack Daniel distillery, Tn Walking Horses, a few historical homes, and not too far away from the Smokey Mtn.
