Women think they're the center of the universe.  More importantly, the center of YOUR universe.  Your job as king of the castle is to make sure that the universe spins along smoothly happily.  As a side note, if you work and she doesn't, laundry is HER job.  If she works more than you or makes more than you, then help out but screw up some of her work clothes every now and then.  You come off as helpful but she'll magically want to do them herself again.
