Ontario, Canada | I'm extremely confused... I was always told that as long as your produce is properly washed it doesn't matter *what* is on it, it will be safe to eat. Was this bacteria INSIDE the produce or on the outside and those sickened didn't wash the produce?? I don't know if this is a matter of people being uneducatd on storing/washing produce or some serious malpractice in the agricultural areas (aren't there time limits with waste application to harvest??) | |
