| Our CAT backhoe has the 4/1 bucket. It wasn't on my "priority" list when we were looking for a hoe but now that we have one I wouldn't be without it. You can pick up logs or trees & stack on a pile instead of pushing it . A little slower than a dozer but you don't get any dirt in your brush pile . Or you can pick up single limbs, rocks, or other things by opening the bucket & clamping down over the item & never have to get off the unit. Open it up & the back poart is like a dozer blade. With it open kreel the bucket forward & use it to drag backwards, it will "shave" hard packed gravel or ice right off like a knife thru buttter. Only your imagination is the limit as to it's uses.
