we have a older model from what I can tell there is no or very little difference in operation and parts. new ones may be a little heavier in construction, Ours has the removable wheels, actually the wheel and hub and a stub axle come off by removing a pin. ours came with the original ramps which you back up on remove wheels and go to seeding, 3-4 minute deal tops. Ours also has the 2 compartment set up one for legumes clover small seeds and the other for your bigger grasses. allows you to set each at different rates. They do a really good job.
