The valve has been changed in the last year or so on the 4000 JD's. The new one is A way better valve. The old one gave a little steering resitance when not using the autopilot and the new valve cured this. I will attach a photo of the old valve the old valve has a extra block on top and alot of extra hose that the new valve does not have. a new platform is about 2995.
