Most cows that abort are caused by slipping on the ice or maybe a cow with horns bumping them around, seen this many times at the hay feeder, had a nice cow with horns and she always liked to show the other cows who was boss, so I run her in the headgate and cabled them off, different cow then and no more aborting cows, out of 200+ cows we have a couple abort a year, kinda the norm here, if they are a damned good cow they get rebred and if old or not a top producer they get wheels. Since you had her around this long and so close to breeding time I would rebreed. Terry
