I have seen zero benefit from the iMax solution, and I think they may as well just disable it. A single base station has been consistently more accurate than iMax, and with 2 or more additional satellites available. My testing has all been at a 10 mile baseline.
If you want to check the accuracy of both, you will need to capture position data from both solutions, then do some analysis of drift during the capture. I wrote some software to do the capture and analysis, which is available here:
