Does it have a beeper or flasher in the dash that beeps or flashes until the oil press comes up when you start it? (or when you push the over-ride button to start it this may shut the warnings off as well) If so when the Murphy is shutting it down then that should go off until shut down. However those could have been disconnected. I have installed many of these in delivery vans for a company I worked for, the boxes we put in would allow 15 second before they would cut the circuit. The time parameter can be different depends on what is chosen. If it has gauges similar to this (link) by grounding (shorting across to the rim of the gauge) the small round metal knob that stick through the gauge glass (just below the 'er' in cleaner on the gauge shown) you will activate the shut down system. Also like Fla says just to the left of that knob is the adjustment point. The box could be bad but most likely wiring. On the systems we used all that the gauges did was send a ground signal to the box which would activate the shut down timer count down, so a wire grounding out would do it. Recently someone on here posted a nice picture of the cab of their Big Bud but I searched for it and could not find the photo to see if it had these type gauges. Hope this helps
