Soooo!! the speed at which you are entering the headland and leaving the headland IS important? I've been trying to tell the son and a few other GPS guys that the look ahead settings are set for the speed at which you intend to drive when crossing the headland and if you cross the headland with the antenna, then down shift and cut your speed in half before the planter reaches the headland rows that you would leave a gap. Same as leaving the headland to slow(overlap)..........They tell me that the GPS knows where the plater unit is and that speed is not a factor.....I'd sure like to know...mainly because I'm SURE I'm right....lol.......
