Very interesting machine. How do they compare to a coil-tine harrow for breaking up wheat residue? I have never been pleased with our tine harrow, it has tendency to bunch and release rather than evenly distribute residue. What type of seeder are you using after these harrow? Would they adequately size 50bu wheat/ 120bu corn residue that you could run a shank type drill (Flexi-coil 5000) on 10" spacing? In our current system it is sometimes borderline as to whether we can get through the residue without hooking on to the JD 1890 and parking the shank drills.

Are they a hot/dry weather machine only? How many lbs/ft do these harrows weigh? Would they have a tendency to pack wet soil like a disk?
Ballpark price for a 40' and 60' machine?

Might have to take a road trip to see one run if there is any time between wheat harvest and corn harvest. It's crazy that there is wheat being cut from Oklahoma to nearly the Canadian border at the same time. No wonder custom harvesters are in a bind.
