Emporia, ks |
On my 7200 12R30, the right marker always settles down in about 15 seconds. I've capped the lines to the cylinder and it wont so I eliminated the cylinder. I took the valve all apart and cleaned it. It was clean as could be inside and the right marker still settles down. The book says if a marker arm settles, inspect P2 port. P2 & R2 have the same valve and seat so I even switched them and still the same. I unscrewed the line going into R2 and capped it. The marker stays up. I looked at the exploded view on JD parts. My valve looks like part # AA38587and I see an Oring # 13 in the pic on the spool # 14 in the picture. I did not find that oring in my valve. I'm going to take it apart again to see if it's stuck inside. Should you be able to slide the spool through the valve with no resistance? This one hangs up slightly. Other than the oring and the valve barely binding, I saw nothing else wrong.

I took it apart and the oring was in the bore so I replaced it. That's what the spool was binding on a little. Changing this made no difference.
