When I was looking at them a few years ago, some reading I did online said that crossing creeks, tall wet grass and snow would make the belt slip since it's exposed. That turned me away from the gator right away. I settled with a Kawasaki Teryx, but if I were to do it again, I'm going to go with a Ranger XP, hopefully with power steering.
