How do you know that the John Deere YAW data is not available to the raven system through the RS232 link? I do know for a fact that the TCM corrections are sent within the NMEA strings and I`m pretty sure the YAW data is also. Your going to want to use the Deere TCM because it has the 6-axis TCM vs. the Raven that only corrects for side to side tilt.
