central IL | Raven's advice sounds good, but I wouldn't say they'll "fight" (there is no two-way communication between the 2 compensators). Whenever your machine is not parallel with the world, both Raven's tilt sensor (TM-1) and Deere's TCM will correct the GPS position to compensate for the machine being tilted to the left or right. Running both may give you twice as much tilt correction as you need.
You definitely want to keep the Raven yaw sensor connected and working. The yaw sensor tells the SmarTrax controller whether the machine is turning or going straight. That information is not available from the Deere TCM (in the NMEA data that the Raven SmarTrax controller uses).
