| your last post is probably the problem. guessing you updated 2600 before hooking to rc. Make sure your card has the latest updates, have rc plugged in and turn on key. it probably isnt going to ask you to update rc, and you need to go to message center, (A)- two little papers with an arrow, and go down to gs2 rate controller and see if it shows you a current version, as well as a card version. This is where it gets fun. Highlight gs2 rate controller, hit reprogram device and go to change version drop-box. It may or may not show a version on card, and keep going back and forth until it finally does show you version on card. Its a hit or miss fix. good luck!
edit- if you happen to have another 2600 that you have not updated this would be the best/easiest way. put new update on card with older version monitor in tractor and update monitor and rc at the same time, but this would be too easy and take all the fun out of it!! :)
