The first thing to do is to calibrate your terrain compensation. Next setup a line and lock on it with the planter up. Go for a ways and then turn around and come back on the same track and lock on. This will tell you if you need a receiver offset. Remember to use half of the distance you are off. Once you get the tractor running correctly then you can move on to the planter. Make a pass then turn and come back. Measure your error and enter an implement offset if necessary. If the left side of the planter is running too close to itself after turning then you need to enter an offset as left half the distance you are too close. Do not check again until you have turned around again. |
