When I quit for the day and am not done with a field, I just shut the monitor off.  I turn it back on when I turn the tractor on in the morning.  The Integra is always recording to memory.  Be sure to end your operation before you leave one field and go to the next so your records do not get "flyers" - stray gps tracks in them.  The same for starting up a new operation - wait until you get to the field.
