bit north of London, UK | UK, France and Germany account for 18% of global wheat production, and, with the exception of southernmost france maybe, all this area is very dry.
How dry? We have had 5mm rain (round up to a quarter of an inch) since feb 25, and this is typical of a huge area.
Good winter crops on average plus land is holding on well, but HERE today we hit 26 degrees C in shade (third day of these temps in a row, which are outrageously above trend), and this is as damaging as the dry today.
I'd say we have still 10 days - 2 weeks till we hit a wall.
Weather outlook not that great as far as a change is concerned.
We pin our hopes on a Royal wedding washout!!
Wheat has leaf 3 fully out, with v early varieties well into leaf 2 (here), but many crops struggled for early broadcast N and are somewhat behind this stage.
