west central Iowa | Some of the 99 thru 07 chevys had bad transfer case problems if they were worked at all. My 2000 model 2500 transfer case went out shortly after I bought it. The extended warranty paid to put in a new gm case, It was going out after 40,000 miles when I sold the pickup on an auction. The extended warranty would only pay for an item once and the gm warranty was only 24000 miles. A friend of mine that works at a gm dealership says some company trucks are on their 5th t-case by the time they have 200,000 on them. | |
