| You really need to bone up on some history. If you could access them, you should read some Farm Journal/ Successful Farming type stuff from say 1978-1981 and then some others from about 5 years later. Probably the same could be said from 1928 to 1934. Something always ends the party, and that something is never obvious until much later. Note that I am not saying today is equal to the start of the great depression or the 80s farm crisis, but remember many of the people that got burned both times were not dummies. They were making what looked like good decisions with the information available to them. And what msb said-some people have the right timing to make a fortune in those downturns.
