Hey thanks for sharing. I got a broker and an account and made my first trade in January - made a little money buying and selling one contract of corn.
Turned around a few weeks later and bought two more contracts of corn, July and Dec, and promptly went in the hole. (now, had I had the stomach to hold on, I'd be singing a different tune, but, you know....)
It all looks very easy from the outside, and I think I learned a few things.
One of which is, I don't have the stomach for trading. I was CONSTANTLY watching prices go up or down. Maybe I didn't have much of a plan, just saw an easy way to make money.
I've still got the account, but I decided I'd rather farm, as opposed to make the easy money in the markets. I figure it is part of my education. | |
